Our brand namesake was derived from the concept of connecting the evident with the new. Baltesta is the middle name of our Founder's best friend for whom she has been friends with for over thirty years (since preschool). Due to the longevity of their bond, she felt it was only right to honor her friend's lasting love and loyalty for their sisterhood through an analogy that defines the proven effectiveness of purity and trust that nourishes the brand. Bean is the nickname of our Founder's only daughter who gave her a “new” perspective on life. Her existence encourages her to try new things, to not be afraid to take risks in life, and to always keep what’s proven and evident at her core. Thus, the characteristics of her experiences with these two magical human beings are deeply rooted in this ground-breaking brand.

When we think of ways to combat social issues within our communities, we always tend to think of the big grand things that need to be done in order to make large change. However, there are so many small things that we can do to make large change. Simply look at some of the things that we have in our homes that we use to bring calmness to our environments; to settle our thoughts. Take the candle for example. It is a tried and true go-to source for peace, balance, and clarity after a hard day’s work, after a disagreement with a friend or loved one, or after a battle within our-self. The combination of wax, fragrance, and light breathes purpose back into us and resurrects who we are to take on another day. The candle is found to be a real wellness product that truly helps; so why not spread the love. This reality led us to create the Baltesta Bean Luxe Scented Candle Company with a purpose to create luxury candles that “Lend to More Spaces of Zen.”
